IT'S ABOUT TIME

Spring forward, Fall back. Why?
Some people say it saves energy to turn the clocks forward in the
Spring, if that is so then why don't we stay on Daylight Savings
time in the Fall and Winter? We could stand to save some energy
then as well. And if there is a good reason for turning the clocks
back in the Fall and Winter, why not keep the Standard Time all
year round?
Our Society is busy for about 12 hours per day. To take daylight
from one part of our schedule and put it at the other end does not
accomplish much. Mainly what it does is to disrupt our bodies
natural bio-rhythms and cause us to readjust all of our clocks. It
usually takes about six months to get all of the clocks in the
household synchronized to the same time, and then we have to
reset them all over again! We don't need this nuisance.
Why not adjust the clocks -- just one time -- by a half hour, and
let it go at that? It would be easier to live with.
